The accounts section allows you to manage the accounts on your website. You can view our training video on how to manage accounts here. The accounts are both membership accounts synchronized from PMI global as well as past members and member-created accounts on your website.

Managing Accounts

In the first portion of this page, you can perform a search on a PMI number, first name, last name or email address. You can also filter by status such as Member, Non-Member, etc. Lastly, you can export the accounts to Excel in order to view more additionnal fields that are not available on screen.

You can also perform several actions on your accounts:

  • You can connect to a user's account without needing their password by using this icon: accounts-impersonate.png
  • You can upgrade a user to an administrative user by clicking on this icon: admin-make.png
  • You can demote them back to a regular uesr by clicking on this icon: admin-remove.png
  • You can edit a user's information by clicking on this icon: accounts-edit.png
  • You can delete a user by clicking on this icon: accounts-delete.png

Modifying an Account

When you modify an account, you'll see many checkbox options at the top, with the rest of the account fields below. Please note that any information that you modify such as email address or phone number, will be overwritten by PMI's data synchronization at midnight (your local chapter time). If you would like us to disable this overwriting functionality, please open a ticket with us.

Here are the list of checkboxes available and their related functionalities:

  • Board Member: By checking this box, this person will be tagged as being part of this chapter's board. They will get access to "board member only" events.
  • Newsletter subscription, express, news: This will add the person to your master list of all accounts in your newsletter lists section.
  • PMP Certification: While you can override this checkbox, it will be updated at the next PMI data synchronization. This tags the person as having completed their PMP and puts them in the associated list.
  • MemberOnce again this checkbox will be automatically overwritten by the PMI data synchronization, however, if you would like to give this account membership access for the day, you can select this checkbox.
  • Job offers newsletter subscription: This will add the person to your jobs offers list  in your newsletter lists section.
  • Student: This checkbox is local to your website and is not overwritten by PMI's data synchronization, it allows you to mark an account as a student account so that they can have access to the student pricing in your events.
  • Expired: When the PMI data synchronization occurs and the membership is expired for this account, this checkbox will be automatically checked. If you check it manually, it will be updated on the next PMI data synchronization.
